Semi synchronous Replication passes no data

My master is running MySql 5.6.19, one slave is 5.6.27 and the other is 5.6.21. Everything seems to indicate that replication is running properly, but data on the slaves is not updated.

My status is:

'Rpl_semi_sync_master_clients','2' 'Rpl_semi_sync_master_net_avg_wait_time','225728' 'Rpl_semi_sync_master_net_wait_time','8351937' 'Rpl_semi_sync_master_net_waits','37' 'Rpl_semi_sync_master_no_times','0' 'Rpl_semi_sync_master_no_tx','0' 'Rpl_semi_sync_master_status','ON' 'Rpl_semi_sync_master_timefunc_failures','0' 'Rpl_semi_sync_master_tx_avg_wait_time','211979' 'Rpl_semi_sync_master_tx_wait_time','5935439' 'Rpl_semi_sync_master_tx_waits','28' 'Rpl_semi_sync_master_wait_pos_backtraverse','0' 'Rpl_semi_sync_master_wait_sessions','0' 'Rpl_semi_sync_master_yes_tx','28'

'Rpl_semi_sync_slave_status', 'ON'

Show slave status reports all ok and 0 seconds behind.

I had the same problem with asynchronous replication and found a post indicating that it had been an issue previously and that semi-synchronous replication was the solution. Could the difference in minor versions be causing the issue?

I'd appreciate any suggestions. Thanks in advance.
