We want to upgrade Sql Server 2008 R2 32-bit to Sql Server 2014 64-bit (both Standard Editions) and use Merge Replication.
SQL Server is both Distributor and Publisher, various Clients (WIN XP, Win 7 32-bit, Win 7 64-bit) use PullSubscription Merge Replication with SQL EXPRESS 2008R2. We choose Windows Synchronisation Manager to synchronise, which works fine.
With SQL Server 2014 we want the same setup. Publishing and Distribution works, Subscription on Client works, sync via batch script using the replmerge.exe with parameters works.
But we are not able to use the Windows Synchronisation Managers. The subscription is not shown there.
We tried both 64-bit and 32-bit Windows Synchronisation Managers in combination with 64-/32-Bit SQL SERVER EXPRESS and various OS. Windows Synchronisation Manager is enabled in the Subscription Properties. Nothing, no Subscription found.
Has anyone run into the same problem?
