openldap replication on centos 7

I am using this link to try to do an openldap replication on my centos 7: http://www.server-world.info/en/note?os=CentOS_7&p=openldap&f=5

The server works fine, and I have ran the two files on the master or provider mod_syncprov.ldif and syncprov.ldif but I am not sure if I have done this right. Is there a way to figure that out or perhaps even revert the changes since if I try ldapadd it will be a duplicate.

I have setup the slave or consumer as well. I do have an ldif data file loaded up on the master server, but the two are not synced up. I guess if they are synced then I should not load up the data onto the slave. Any clarifications would be much appreciated.
