SAN replication vs AlwaysOn vs something else?

Working on a DR project at the moment, we have our primary location which is all setup. Our secondary location has most of the hardware we need already. We have a Microsoft SQL driven web application. We already do backups with a 3rd party software and replicate that but we are looking for the best way to bring the SQL data online if needed.

My ideal solution would be to build out a copy of the web/application servers and configure DNS, firewall, etc so that it all works and just need to attach the SQL data and be online.

We have been talking with our vendor about SAN replication however this would require work after the cutover. I am looking at AlwaysOn but there are licensing costs and complexity associated with that.

We are in the process of migrating everything to 2014 so we can assume that version for this question. We have ~425 databases that would need to get sent over spread across 7 SQL servers. We could probably consolidate to save on licensing costs.
